 Help Us Give the Gift of God’s Word to Ethiopia

At Be There Ministries, our mission is simple but powerful: to assist the vulnerable by meeting physical, emotional, and spiritual needs through equipping youth, families, and Christian leaders. We desire to bring the love of Christ to people who desperately need it. Today, we’re asking you to join us in one of the most urgent and life-changing opportunities: providing audio Bibles to people in Ethiopia who cannot read.

In many parts of Ethiopia, especially rural areas, illiteracy remains a significant barrier. Millions of faithful men, women, and children desire to know God more deeply, but they are cut off from His Word simply because they cannot read it. For them, a printed Bible is just ink on paper—meaningless without someone to interpret it. But what if they could hear the Bible spoken clearly, in their own heart language?

Thanks to advances in technology, we now have the ability to put solar-powered, durable audio Bibles directly into the hands of those who need them most. These devices are designed for areas without electricity or internet and come preloaded with Scripture in local Ethiopian languages. With the press of a button, entire communities can gather to listen to the story of Jesus, the teachings of the apostles, and the hope found in God’s promises.

We’ve seen firsthand how these audio Bibles change lives. In a few instances where we’ve already distributed a few, people gather to listen and God is at work. Once isolated by illiteracy, the Gospel is now being heard—and lives are being transformed.

Each audio Bible costs just $30, and we are prayerfully seeking to fund at least 100 units in the next 90 days. That’s $3,000 to reach hundreds—possibly thousands—of people with the unfiltered, unabridged Word of God. Your tax deductible donation of $30 will provide one audio Bible. $60 will bless two people or households. A gift of $300 will equip ten families or small group leaders with the Word.
