Gabriel's Mission Trip to Ethiopia

My name is Gabriel Monger, and I am raising money to go on a mission trip to Ethiopia with Be There Ministries.

This mission trip means a lot to me—I am graduating next semester from Saginaw Valley State University with a degree in Music Education, and with the free time I have left, I want to trust in Jesus with this call He has given me. Throughout my life, I’ve developed a strong passion for serving others through music, volunteering, and prayer. During college, I also worked at a hospital, where I saw firsthand how important it is to care for people in times of need. That experience confirmed my desire to help others in meaningful ways.

Be There Ministries is a Christian organization that serves families in Ethiopia by helping meet basic needs like food, housing, and medical care, while also supporting long-term growth through education, job training, and faith-based outreach. On this trip, I will be working alongside the ministry to serve communities, build relationships, and support the work they are already doing.

This will be my first overseas mission trip, and I am incredibly excited for the chance to step out of my comfort zone and serve others in a new way. I see this as an opportunity to grow not only as an educator but as a person committed to making a difference.
